Cebr, in short

01

What does Cebr do?

Cebr is a specialist consultancy for Microsoft Azure, applied AI and automation. The work spans eight disciplines: cloud architecture, applied AI, automation, custom software and SaaS, API strategy and data orchestration, FinOps, security and compliance, and modernisation and technical audits. Clients engage one discipline or the whole stack.

02

Where is Cebr based?

Cebr is based in Aarhus, Denmark, and works with companies across Denmark and the Nordics. Most delivery happens remotely, with on-site days in Aarhus and the surrounding region when a project calls for them.

03

Do you work in Danish or in English?

Cebr works in both Danish and English. Meetings, written scopes, documentation and handover material come in whichever of the two your team prefers.

04

How big is the team, and who actually does the work?

Cebr is a small senior team, and the engineer who scopes an engagement is the engineer who builds and runs it. There is no junior bench and no hand-off once the contract is signed.

05

What certifications does Cebr hold?

Cebr holds six Microsoft certifications earned between 2021 and 2025, two of them at Expert level: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and DevOps Engineer Expert. The other four are Azure AI Engineer, Azure Developer, Azure Administrator and Azure Fundamentals.

Working with Cebr

06

How does Cebr price a project?

Cebr works from fixed-scope offers rather than open-ended hourly billing. After a short call you get a written scope and a fixed price back within one business day, with no obligation to go ahead.

07

How quickly do you reply to an enquiry?

Cebr replies to project enquiries within one business day, either with clarifying questions or with a written scope and a fixed offer. A few lines about the problem and any deadline is enough to start.

08

Who owns the code and the infrastructure afterwards?

You do. Code, infrastructure and documentation stay with your team, and Cebr designs every engagement for the day you no longer need us. There is no lock-in and no proprietary layer you have to keep paying for.

09

Can Cebr run the system after it is built?

Managed operations and on-call are available as an optional add-on once a system is live. If you would rather run it in-house, Cebr hands over clean, documented code and infrastructure instead.

10

Do you take over an existing codebase or Azure estate?

Cebr takes on existing Azure estates and legacy codebases, not just greenfield work. Those engagements usually open with a technical audit that states plainly what is there, where the risk sits and what changing it would cost.

11

Can I get a second opinion on an architecture or a vendor proposal?

Technical audits and second opinions are a standalone service at Cebr, separate from any build work. You get a written assessment of the architecture, the codebase or the proposal on your desk - with no obligation to hire us for whatever it recommends.

Azure, cost and delivery

12

Can Cebr help reduce our Azure bill?

Cutting Azure spend is one of Cebr’s eight service areas. It runs either as a hands-on analysis of your estate - rightsizing, orphaned resources, reservations and savings plans - or continuously through Finbr, Cebr’s own FinOps product.

13

What is Finbr?

Finbr is Cebr’s FinOps product for Microsoft Azure. It installs into your own Azure tenant in about 15 minutes, scans with read-only access, and turns waste into concrete recommendations priced against your actual bill - then tracks what acting on them saved.

14

Can Cebr migrate us to Azure?

Azure migration is Cebr’s first discipline: landing zones and governance, lift-and-shift and re-platform migration, Well-Architected reviews, and managed operations once you are there. The aim is a platform that passes audit and then stays boring.

15

Do you build software yourselves, or only advise?

Cebr writes the software, in C# / .NET. That covers tailored business applications and websites, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, service backends and APIs - and the engineers who design the architecture are the ones who write the code.

Security, data and compliance

16

Does Cebr work with regulated or security-sensitive environments?

Enterprise security and compliance is one of Cebr’s eight disciplines: identity and access with Entra ID, network, secrets and data protection, policy, baselines and compliance evidence, and readiness work for NIS2, ISO 27001 and GDPR.

17

Where does our data go if we use Finbr?

Finbr runs inside your own Azure tenant, so cost and inventory data never leaves your environment. Access is read-only across the subscriptions you choose, there are no agents and no write permissions, and you can switch it off at any time.
